Cullens Youth Association

A non-profit facility where Newtown Youth Groups Connect with the Outdoors

Welcome to the Cullens Youth Association!

Nestled on 20 acres off Taunton Lake Road, Cullens Youth Association is a special place where the youth of Newtown, Connecticut form meaningful and lasting connections with Nature. And in the process, they develop self-esteem, confidence and practical skills that will serve them long after their experiences here!

Our facilities for Newtown's organized youth groups include two acres of activity fields, four acres of wooded camping sites, and a seven-acre lake ideal for canoeing and fishing. The property also has a 2,400-square-foot lodge complete with kitchen, restrooms, and equipment storage. The lodge is available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day to all organized youth groups such as scouts, church youth groups, special education children, civic organizations, and other youth organizations in Newtown and, by invitation only, to out-of-town organizations.

Cullens Youth Association is funded entirely by private donations. Your tax-deductible gift will help us serve the youth of Newtown. Click on the "Support Cullens" link on the left to find out how to donate today!
